Even though Christian and I (Amanda) are both from Ghana, West Africa, we met in 2013 through mutual friends here in Dallas, TX. We have been married for 9 years and have been blessed with our beautiful daughter Faith whom attends Premier Prep. Both Christian and I are in the Information Security (Cybersecurity) field and love what we do as we are making a great difference in the world. Our family is a big sports family whether it’s watching college/professional games, watching the Olympics or attending football/basketball games. Anything that brings us together and allow us to spend time as a family, we love it. We knew about premier prep even before Faith was born since her two god-sisters attended this same school, 14-15 years ago. Faith’s god-parents always talked about how amazing Premier was when their daughters were there. Once we moved to the area and came for a tour, we already knew and were at peace for Faith to start attending Premier Prep School. God is the foundation and center of our lives and we are very happy and at peace knowing that our daughter has the Christian foundation while at school, caring teachers/staff and the academic syllabus that has equipped her fundamental years but also plays an important role in her academic years to come. Faith met her best friend Oakley during 3A in Ms. Tiffany’s class and they have been best friends and still hang out whenever they are both in the same area and call each other via FaceTime even though they are miles apart. Since Faith started Premier Prep, we have seen growth and maturity and are very grateful to God and Premier Prep. There is an African proverb that states “It takes a village to raise a child” which emphasizes on the importance of community support in a raising a child.
